Tuesday, February 14th 2012

“Getalit” - High-Pressure Laminates and “GetaCore” - Solid Surface Elements: Both materials are perfectly suited to be used as kitchen worktops. The quality trademark “ Made in Germany“ is just one of their impressive features.  At the show Westag & Getalit presents new decors for its “GetaCore”-Worktops, new edge-solutions for its  square-lipped “GetaLit”-Worktop range  and also “CutDesign” - the planning, designing and quotation software for both product types.
At the exhibition the company offers an expanded range of edging solutions for its GetaLit  HPL-laminate  square-lipped worktops with a focus on the combination of various edge materials.  The range comprises decor matching GetaLit HPL-laminate edging strips, decor matching  PP-edges as well as Designer PP-edges - called PP-EFFECT-edgings. Although merely 1.5 cm thick,  these PP-edgings feature an impressive visual depth effect, thereby highlighting the decor print underneath.
The range also includes real aluminium metal edges whose straight design provide a contrasting, contemporary look.
Another highlight is the “Alu Lisene edging strip” which is also a new addition to the range: An elegant aluminium profile which encloses a flush-fitted laminate edging strip as a worktop surface decor-matching inlay.

GetaCore Solid Surface material in two new decors: “Crystal Line” :
Westag & Getalit are also exhibiting the complete decor range of its Solid Surface material GetaCore.
Among 60 decors 2 new fine-structured decors will be launched under the new "Crystal Line" series.
The transparent crunchies embedded in the material of the “Crystal  Line”-decors create an interesting depth effect.
The software-solution for its “Getalit” - High-Pressure Laminate and “GetaCore” - Solid Surface worktop range makes it possible to plan and design kitchen worktops in just six steps. Choosing the right kitchen shape and the worktop type, selecting the decor and edgings as well as specifying the dimensions and matching accessories takes just a few minutes. The programme will automatically prepare a sketch based on the dimensions and specifications requested by the customer. The sketch can then be handed over to the customer along with a quotation. To rule out mistakes in the subsequent ordering process, the software can convert the data into an order and place it with Westag & Getalit directly.
