Grey is emerging as the new black, according to Bellissimo, which has added five grey solid and woodgrain options to its Saturn vinyl range.
Anthracite is a dark solid gloss, while Lava and Stone Grey are dark and light solid matts respectively. Grey Drift Oak and Avola are the woodgrain options in matt.
Saturn now comprises 60 matt and gloss vinyls in solids and woodgrains, while most suppliers offer a mere five or six choices. Bespoke sizes are available throughout the range, as are various widths and heights of convex and concave curve, and handle-less fascias.
Bellissimo is also able to supply a flexible back panel to run around the outside of “horseshoe” islands, which enables such islands to be created from fewer or more doors than the standard internal run of four cabinets which most brands go with. This gives more design flexibility when designing islands, and provides the opportunity to place islands within smaller spaces than standard options permit.
“Grey possibly reflects more economically straightened times compared with bold black,” said Bellissimo Managing Director Warnock Watson. “It also gives the style-conscious consumer a look for living with rather than selling, as more people look to improve rather than move. Grey also works beautifully in combination with white and strong colours.”
