EQ Open Communications with kbb Gateway

Tuesday, October 18th 2011

EQ Software, the UK’s largest provider of kbb business management and eCommerce solutions, has taken customer service to an entirely new level with the introduction of kbb Gateway. The industry directory and communications network, live from 1st November 2011 represents close to two years of technical development from its initial concept early in 2010.
The kbb Gateway is a searchable source of Suppliers, Trade Associations, Media and Marketing companies specific to the kitchen, bedroom and bathroom industry. Suppliers can upload their latest brand catalogues, build a profile, load branch addresses, contact information and will eventually post their latest news stories. New industry information from kbb Trade Associations is not only posted for download, but also pushed to the many thousands of EQ Software users. Marketing companies and online versions of the leading Media publications can also be accessed on kbb Gateway within a few clicks directly from the software package.

By enabling faster access to suppliers and industry related information, EQ are convinced that this will improve the levels of communication between the kbb market sectors. A viewed echoed by EQ Software Managing Director Leigh Martin who comments “We have built a huge customer and supplier base over the last 11 years. What has always been a problem is the rapid exchange of up to date information between retailers at the sharp end and their suppliers. While EQ ensure that 1000’s of supplier catalogues are current, we now provide a platform of communication enabling suppliers to inform customers directly of their very latest products and services. We want to extend the platform to our industry partners ensuring the flow of important information to the EQ user base continues. ”

www.kbbgateway.com is live from 1stNovember 2011.  Directory registration is open to all EQ Supplier Partners, Trade Associations, Media publications and Marketing companies.
